The Labour and the Government: 

       The Labour was not too involved or less with the government or in politics. The political territory was broadly divided into two points of views. One of them was independent labour parties that were closely connected to Craft Unionism which formed by local labour councils.

These two parties showed and proved the principles of labourism. These principles pointed out to the slow reformation of Capitalism. Capitalists (root word of capitalism) are wealthy and well educated people. Labourists were fighting for rights such as the Nine hour movement. Winnipeg general strike cartoon
They often fought for rights that would improve their lives and protect them. The Government on the other hand often refused to grant the wishes the workers requested. The result was a strike.   Street scene during Winnipeg general strike
